Per usual, I was reading a good post yesterday.  I came across problogger and decided it would be a good idea to check out some of his tweets. Of all his tweeted articles, I selected one and it starts off talking about how you will not become a millionaire or be well off with just a blog.  Interesting.  What I really want to share with you guys is the content of the article.  The guest blogger for this post mentions his multimillionaire uncle and how he gave his key points for the fruition of his success.  It’s simple (well not exactly, but simple concept).

1. Have a short term plan

2. Have medium term plan

3. Have a long-term plan

Basically, in short, the short-term plan can be a temporary or part-time job, something that pays your bills.  Medium term plan can be a job or project or maybe a service that will need some preparation time but can supplement your income.  And last, the long-term plan isn’t anything out of reach, very much attainable but will ultimately pay off handsomely.  The writer urges the audience to always have at least one of each of these plans in effect.  Never have a medium-term and not work towards a long-term and vice versa.

What I took from this article:

First of all, I feel like I knew some of these points but when you dumb it down to these simple concepts, it seems THAT much more attainable.  Also, prior I didn’t think of categorizing how my projects work in terms of time, and what income they will substitute.  As for my fellow entrepreneurs…I’m sharing this article and pointers because I would love to help others, and I’m sure if you read the article further it will have greater importance to your lives and also help you re-evaluate how you make plans in terms of what you would like your entrepreneurial spirits to move you to accomplish.  Very good and short informative read.  For my fellow peers, let’s make some magic happen and we should start with reordering, and reorganizing, and prioritizing our lives and projects to have a more, lax and effective approach.  Many times, I find that I can be so high-strung on the idea of becoming an entrepreneur that I make the simplest things seem so complicated, when in essence, it’s just a few short concepts that we need to incorporate to make our lives more independent and less stressful.  Thanks to problogger for delivering a great post on the business plan!
